These instructions will provide you with the steps to assign local user to a local  manager on the Power and Autopilot Platforms.

Assigning users to managers on the Power Platform

  1. Upon login to the Power Platform select the customer you wish to manage.
  2. From the dashboard, click on the Users box.
  3. From the User-Group-Manager administration window, click on Managers.
  4. If the manager needs to be created, click on the “+ Add Manager” button to add it. Continue with the steps below.
  5. Click on the pencil icon next to the manager you want to edit.
  6. On the right side of the screen, select the user’s current manager (this could be currently set to “No Manager”).
  7. On the left side of the screen, select the user’s new manager.
  8. Click on the user you want to assign to the new manager, and click on the arrow to the left to move it.
  9. Click on the green Update button.

Assigning users to an existing manager on the Autopilot Platform

  1. Upon login to the Autopilot Platform, select the customer you wish to manage.
  2. If you need to create the manager first, click on “Edit Settings” on the ribbon to the right, click on “Local Company Manager(s)” and click on “Add Manager(s)” button, type their name and click on Save.
  3. from the dashboard, click on Users on the ribbon on the right side of the screen.
  4. From the Users window, click on the pencil next to the user you want to edit.
  5. Select the manager you want the user to report to.
  6. Click on the Save button.

That’s it.
