LastPass lives in your browser as an extension. It sits in the background monitoring your logins to each website based upon the domain name you’re visiting. If it finds a new login username and password for a novel domain, it will prompt you to store it inside its encrypted password database. This video provides a quick overview of how the browser extension accomplishes these things and guides the viewer with how to get the most out of LastPass.
