24th May 2025 | HowTo, MSP, Platform, Technology HowTo: Add a Local Client Administrator to the Power Platform

The following steps explain how to add a local Client Administrator to CyberHoot within the Power Platform, enabling the client administrator to manage settings specific to their own deployment. It’s important to note this differs from adding an MSP Super Admin, which provides administrative rights across all customers managed by the MSP.

Steps:

  1. From the Dashboard, click on Admin on the top right corner.
  2. Click on “Customer Settings
  3. Under the Admins tab, click on “+ Add Administrator
  4. Enter their First Name, Last Name, Email Address and Password. The mobile phone field is optional. Leave the “Send a Notification Email” checkbox checked. This will send the new admin an email with their credentials and force the user to change their password after the first login.
  5. Click on Add.

That’s it, the new local admin has been added.
